I had my first day of work at the running store today. It's a cool place, and I get to wear casual clothes, like my dead Brooks Adrenaline GTS 8's. Today, I learned to do some gait analysis. When we videotaped my stride as a practice, it was glaringly obvious that I pronate moderately as my foot strikes the ground. Oh well, that's why I wear a stability and motion-control shoe, right? And I don't seem to have any problems...[Knock on wood]
I also got introduced to the walls and walls of shoes stocked in the back. It's a pretty amazing sight. Plus, the smell of new running shoes is great, almost as good as salty corn chips! The store was slow today, so my shift ended early. Tomorrow is supposed to be busy, so hopefully, I'll learn lots of other good things.
After taking advantage of my free time (by running errands), I tried a new recipe for peanut butter-oatmeal cookies with chocolate chips.
They turned out pretty good, if you like peanut butter. (So if you're not French.) I might try to win over some of my coworkers tomorrow by bringing in cookies, in the event that my charm and wit fail me.
Tonight, Dan hosted a party for all the March birthdays. There were a lot of tasty treats for the consuming:
And a stability ball for bouncing:
Though later, "awkward" was the name of the game:
On that note, I am off to bed. I am wiped! Night, all.

That's so cool that you're working at a running store. I've meet so many helpful people at running stores. You'll be perfect! I can't wait to hear more about it :)
Sounds like one heck of a day! All those munchies look super yum. I'm a total cupcake whore.
I am secretly in that last picture because I was the one frightening him, haha.
I love how you incorporated the word "nubbin" in your post. haha. And, um, I'm kinda jealous of your new job at a running store.

Great job on the 7! I did 6 friday after work and it was still light out when I finished...I love spring/summer (despite temps not quite being there yet).
Do tell if there are new "must-have" running clothes =).
I always thought that it would be fun to work at a running store! I love new running shoes, so that would be pretty awesome.
