Aggressive XT: Day 3

This morning, Dan, Brian, and I all went to the gym. Dan was nice enough to set up my spin bike for me so I didn't fall off. Then he and Brian hammered out some miles on the treadmill, while I proceeded to fail at stationary biking:

The boyfriend says that the wheels of my bike are shedding, but those are motion lines...so you know I'm going fast!

While I worked at the running store, I was visited not only by Jessica, but also by Stephanie. I was also told (Hoohoo, passive voice!) by the all-knowing managers that I probably don't have a stress fracture. I hope the orthopedist will confirm this on Wednesday and clear me to go running!

Later, I spent some quality time doing linguistics homework with my friend Chris C. He's a cool guy who likes things like good beer, blogging about theology, and nasal vowels:

I don't really enjoy the same things, but we seem to get along okay anyway.

Now, I'm off to hop into bed and be lulled to sleep by the soporific qualities of the Chanson de Roland.

YAY for (maybe) not having a stress fracture. I was kind of terrified for you for a second there due to the whole not running for AGES part...

Your spinning adventure sounds interesting..Haha, nice drawing!

I love your little drawings, tehee so cute! I know how it feels to be the one on the bike though. The last time I ran regularly was in March? I miss it!

If this linguistics business doesn't work out, you have a fantastic future in court drawings. Just sayin'.

So when are me and Chris going on a date? 'Cause I like beer and beards. And I can learn to like theology and nasal vowels if he's into it.

@Olga:

I am beard. I am commenting on your blog comment about the man who grew me, creating public awkwardness in the Interpool. Go to a café in New York this Saturday at noon, and Chris will do the same in Illinois; it will be a date.

@Bethany:

It's not fake; it's pure badger hair. I've made a wig out of a small mammal, and I wear it on my head when I want to feel fancy.
