Frenchie playdate

Yesterday, we took Bodger over to my friend Ingrid's house for a Frenchie playdate. He got to meet Missy, Mimi, and Jojo. Because he was the youngest and only boy, those three ladies showed him who was boss.

We also got to see Jojo's two-month-old puppies, who look like little kangaroos:

Even though Bodger is neutered, he was really excited to see the ladies. His tongue came way out, and he started breathing noisily. I guess old habits die hard. Missy and Mimi were unamused.

To teach him a lesson, we put him in a pink Snuggie:

He didn't like it...at all:

Finally, for any readers who fly frequently, do you have any tips (websites?) for flying to Asia? It's really, really expensive, and I'm sure there is "insider knowledge" that I'm missing!

Have you tried "studentuniverse.com"? Sometimes I have good luck there.

Or my ex-boyfriend once told me to check prices at 2AM- only because companies often "reboot" their systems (I can't remember how he phrased it exactly) and prices can change a bit. Good luck!

Ahaha, the cuteness! I love the doggy snuggie, though I generally am perturbed at animals in clothing.

Also, I wish there were dogs that looked like kangaroos.

Flying to Asia...I suggest going straight to the company's website. Where is it you are going? Pick an Asian airline - they are so much better than United or Delta. If you travel during high season, tickets will be rather expensive. Also I found that online prices are usually cheaper than booking a ticket through the phone. It doesn't hurt to try both ways though (check online and call). Shoot me an email. I recommend against going to those cheaper travel websites because if something were to happen to your reservation, it's a huge hassle. Save those for domestic trips.

Those doggies are so cute!!!

You are going to Asia? Well, I guess it depends where you are going. Some countries are very expensive and some are very cheap for foreigners.

If not mistaken, for flight tickets Eva airlines is quite affordable and usually got cheap promotion tickets offer.

If you are looking for accomodation, try this site: agoda.com

As for inside the country, if you know a local there, absolutely it will help you a lot to get things cheaper ;)

Hey... how about visiting me in Jakarta? I'll bring you to try all those street food that you've seen on my blog ;D

haha you should have learned from titan, who immediately chewed up his snuggie for dogs. anyway, my parents usually get our tickets to china from a travel agent; it sounds like it would be more expensive but since they get reduced rates from the airlines, it actually comes out cheaper if you buy them enough in advance. i would try some of the travel agents around the chicago area, im sure there are lots

Can I have your life right now? I want all those dogs up in my hizzzzlleeee. Please?

I'd recommend kayak.com. It allows you to compare prices of flights on a number of travel sites. We used it to fly to Europe, which is also pretty expensive.

Bodger is so cute! It looks like you've been having a lot of fun getting to know him. The photos are tempting me to want a puppy, but I know I can't handle the responsibility... better to stick with cuddling with stuffed animals for now. Nice job keeping up with running, even in the snow!
