I bought a pair of Recovery Socks to wear tomorrow afternoon and after the race on Saturday. They are the Small (not XS) size, which makes them somewhat difficult to get over my calves. Once they're on though, they feel pretty good.
The weather for Saturday is looking less than ideal: warm, humid, and windy. I'm not sure that this is PR weather, but depending on how I feel after tomorrow's expo, we'll see if I'm even in PR mindset.

good luck with the half on saturday! i'm sure you will rock it out! we have to run one together someday.
hope the calves hold up. your radish post was funny. i can't believe koreans actually have calf reduction surgery. so ridic that i'm pretty glad i don't live there anymore. i will admit that i don't always like/appreciate my calf muscles. thanks for the reminder to proud! :-)
if you walk around backwards it helps to loosen your calves. I know that sounds like old-fogie-witch-magic advice, but I work with a bunch of weirdos, and it worked for me.
You'll be great at the half!! Run strong. I'll be cheering for you from too far away to hear, but know that I'm still cheering. :)
do you want to wear my compression sleeve during the race? it really does feel good. I'll find you during the expo today (hopefully you'll be there in the afternoon!)
I've really been wanting to try compression socks (along with a zillion other things I want to try/buy that are running related). My right calf has been sore for a few weeks, and of course, now my right shin is sore!
I hope the socks make your legs feel great for the race tomorrow! We are looking at the same forecast in Kenosha. Should be fun ;)
Good luck!
best of luck tomorrow w/ the mini! you'll rock that thang!

Good Luck! And I thought those were just going to be cute red tights!
